NO KINGS 3 Is March 28 — and Queens Says No Kings Is Leading the Way in Queens

the official no kings march 28 announcement

On March 28, 2026, Queens will once again rise together.

NO KINGS 3 is the next chapter in a growing, people-powered movement — and this time, the stakes are even higher. At a moment when democratic norms are under pressure nationwide, our borough is sending a clear message: Queens does not kneel to authoritarianism. Queens shows up.

That work is being led, once again, by Queens Says No Kings (QSNK) — the grassroots coalition that organized two of the largest democracy marches in Queens history and is now mobilizing neighbors, community groups, labor, faith leaders, artists, and activists for NO KINGS 3.

This isn’t parachute organizing. This is homegrown.

QSNK is a Queens-based coalition, built block by block and neighborhood by neighborhood. Our leadership team lives here. Our volunteers are your neighbors. Our partner groups span Forest Hills, Jackson Heights, Jamaica, Astoria, Ridgewood, and beyond. We organize locally because democracy is local.

And when Queens moves, it moves big.

💗 Kick Things Off With Our Valentine’s Day Plan & Prep Gathering

Before we take the streets on March 28, we’re coming together on Valentine’s Day to build momentum for NO KINGS 3 — and you’re invited.

Our Valentine’s Day Plan & Prep is part organizing meeting, part community hang, part creative workshop. Neighbors will help make signs, decorate Resist Flower crafts, connect with volunteer teams, and get the inside scoop on how Queens is preparing for NO KINGS 3.

It’s also a fundraiser in the spirit of a classic PTA bake sale: we’ll have baked goods, crafts, and hands-on activities — with proceeds supporting march materials and organizing costs.

Whether you’re a longtime organizer or brand new, this is the perfect on-ramp.

  • Meet the QSNK team and fellow neighbors
  • Learn about volunteer roles for NO KINGS 3
  • Help create signs and art for the march
  • Pick up materials and resources
  • Get plugged into communications, programming, or safety teams

A Proven Track Record of Turning Out Queens

The first two NO KINGS marches demonstrated what’s possible when communities organize with clarity, inclusiveness, and purpose. Tens of thousands of people came together across age, culture, and background — families with strollers, seniors with handmade signs, students, workers, artists, and longtime organizers — all united around a simple principle:

No kings. No dictators. No one above the law.

Those marches didn’t just fill streets. They built infrastructure: volunteer teams, safety marshals, communications networks, creative programming, and durable relationships among dozens of local organizations. That groundwork is what makes NO KINGS 3 possible — and stronger.

This time, QSNK is expanding every piece of the operation:

  • Larger volunteer corps
  • Broader coalition outreach
  • More neighborhood visibility actions
  • Expanded creative programming (music, speakers, and art)
  • Stronger safety and accessibility planning

Every detail is being handled by Queens residents, for Queens residents.

Why NO KINGS 3 Matters Now

NO KINGS 3 is not just a march. It’s a declaration.

It says that Queens believes in democracy, dignity, and accountability. It says we reject political violence, corruption, and strongman rule. It says that civic participation doesn’t belong to any single party or personality — it belongs to the people.

At a time when many feel isolated or powerless, NO KINGS 3 offers something tangible: a chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with neighbors and remind ourselves what collective action looks like.

This is how movements stay alive. This is how communities protect their future.

Built by Volunteers. Powered by Neighbors.

Everything QSNK does is volunteer-driven. From planning meetings to flyer distribution, from safety marshals to social media, from bake sales to banner painting — this movement runs on people who decide to show up.

If you want to get involved, start with Valentine’s Day — and then help us build toward March 28.

Queens Leads

Other boroughs organize. Other cities organize.

But Queens leads.

NO KINGS 3 is proof that grassroots organizing still works — when it’s local, inclusive, and rooted in real relationships. QSNK is proud to carry that forward, and proud to represent a borough that refuses to be silent when democracy is on the line.

On March 28, Queens will be heard.

And it will be led by Queens.
